Pre season football camp

I have been working with Swedish Football now on both an elite senior level and at elite junior level since 2011. During this time, I have seen many areas both physically, technically and mentally that can be improved upon immensely and as I spent more time researching the needs of the players, I saw the need to put together a program that can take players to the next level in combination with their club training. Basically the majority of Swedish clubs are under funded and do not have the resources to effectively meet the needs of the players in their clubs, therefore there are many holes in the player development that need to be addressed. For me, the most important part of the season is the PRE PRE season, no, its not a mistake, I mean that before the player goes back to to pre season training with his club, he or she needs to be ready. by doing a PRE PRE SEASON TRAINING CAMP first before starting back with his/her club.

So, the purpose of my PRE PRE SEASON FOOTBALL CAMP 2 is to get the player mentally, physically, emotionally and technically ready to not only be the stand out player when they get back to their club, but to also keep them as injury free as possible throughout the season.

The first half of the season lasts 6 months so PPSFC1 is more based on strength, functional training, conditioning, speed endurance, mobility and prehab exercises. We also focus a lot on football technique, football intelligence and match specific exercises and drills. The second half of the season lasts for approximately 3 months and so on PPSFC2, we focus more on building power, explosivity, speed, agility and specific match based exercises and drills. The camps takes place in our sports specific based gym in Sisjön and also in the indoor and outdoor football arena in Öckero. Both camps consists of a 18hr program which includes 14.5 hrs of training and 5.5 hrs of seminars which are based on nutrition, recovery and mental training.

On day 1, 3, 5 we will start at 11.00 and finish at 15.00 with a lunch break between 12,30-13.30. have a spilt session, where we do S&C in the first session and then football technic in the afternoon, where we work on many aspects of the technical game which are fundamental in succeeding as a modern day player. On days 2 and 4 we will start at 11.00 and finish at 13.00, the focus will be on pre match warm up drills/routines and match specific football training. Lunch will be from 13.00-14.00 and then will be followed by a seminar from 14.00 - 15.30. The last day we will hold one last seminar from 11.00 - 12.30 followed by a session of Q & A from 12.30-13.30.

A healthy sports lunch will be provided everyday except day 6 and also snacks and drinks. We will have Swedens leading producer of training supplements, Swedish Supplements, helping us to provide the players with protein shakes and vitamins during the camp. They will also provide us with shakers, sports bag and tshirt. We will have present some of the best coaches in Sweden in regards to football , strength and conditioning, nutrition, recovery and mental training. After the camp is over, each player will receive individual feedback on their performance, strengths and weaknesses and mindset.

On our camps, we have had players who play abroad in Europe, players who play for the junior Swedish national team and players who play for the top academies in Sweden. At this moment we are only taking players from the age of 13-19 years old and the camp is open to both boys and girls.

Summer: 31st July - 5h August
Winter: 18th - 23rd December
